They released their self-titled first album in 1986. Later that same year, after having taken their home country by storm, they relocated across the ocean to Brazil, quickly making a name for themselves in their new homeland.
Beginning in the 1990s, they took their show on the road again, this time headed to Portugal. Their stay there brought them new fans and saw the release of their next three albums, Saparam (1991), Ydeble (1992), and Absaite (1993). Next the group moved to Belgium where they recorded Soko Soke, released in 1995.
